Our Team.

True North Strength

True North Strength is more than just a place to work out — it’s a movement rooted in community, confidence, and lifelong strength. We believe fitness should be accessible, empowering, and grounded in real-life goals, whether you’re an athlete chasing performance, a parent looking to move better, or a young person discovering their potential.

Based in Parry Sound, Ontario, True North Strength offers personal training, jump rope coaching, youth athlete development, and community fitness programs designed to meet people where they’re at — and help them grow from there.

We believe great coaching is about more than simply telling someone what exercises to do. It’s about getting to know the person in front of you, understanding their goals, providing guidance and support, and helping them build the confidence to keep progressing.

Northern Jump Rope Crew

At Northern Jump Rope Crew, we believe that great coaching is about more than teaching athletes how to jump rope. It’s about helping them build confidence, develop new skills, challenge themselves, and find a community where they feel supported and encouraged.

Our coaching team brings together experience, knowledge, passion, and a genuine love for the sport. We work to create an environment where athletes can learn, make mistakes, celebrate progress, and challenge themselves while still having fun.

Whether an athlete is joining us for recreational classes, working toward competition, or somewhere in between, our goal is to help them develop as athletes and as people. We value coachability, effort, independence, teamwork, and a positive attitude, and we want every athlete to leave practice feeling proud of what they accomplished.

We're excited to continue growing NJR and creating opportunities for athletes to learn, compete, connect, and have fun through jump rope!
